OKI Reed Switches have extremely high-quality due to their electro/mechanical design and up-to-date assembly techniques by the use of proprietary technologies -- contact surface deactivation treatment, high-performance automatic sealing machines, and contact resistance measurement based on the flux scanning (FS) system.

Types Available: We stock high Power Form A SPST 100 watt switches, all varieties of ultra miniature to small, standard and larger power reed switches. Varieties vary from Form A (spst), Form B (nc to open), Form C (spdt) depending upon the actual application in terms of voltage and current to be switched. SMD (surface mount devices) molded reed switches are available.

Tell us of your specific needs: We have in-place equipment allowing us to deliver preformed switches to fit your printed circuit boards. Sizes available are .6 inch centers, .8 inch centers, and 1.0 inch centers. Switch ends can be trimmed to your specifications, all here at our facilities.

Welding Extension Leads On Reed Switches: Often we are asked to weld an extension lead on the end of a reed switch. We even form the ends of a reed switch on 1 inch centers or larger and trim the tips as required for some customers. Sometimes a reed switch customer asks us to perform articulated bendings of the reed switch leads since when they do it, the switch glass breaks. Frankly we have people who have done this for over 20 years. Special packing is often undertaken if requested.

Quality of Product: We fabricate our Genuine OKI Proximity Switches utilizing our own high contact reliability reed switches. We simply cannot find reed switches from anyone else who can provide the reliability that you have come to expect from OKI. We feel that we make the best proximity sensors, bar none.

Proximity Switches are used in fluid level, position sensing, current flow, shock (dropping), temperature (excursions high and low), rotation, blow pressure (air flow detection).
